This is about an african american, and it basically sums up his life, from work, to his family. It shows his birth death, and many more events throughout his lifetime. The man interviewing, was trying to find out information about "negroes" and see what life was like in a different race. He wanted to see what went on on a regular basis and see some differences.

To me race isn't a big deal, it doesn't separate good people from bad people. I don't think this man had to study a "negro" to find all his answers. It was good however to try to view life from another man's shoes. I think it was a much different opinion on race back then.
